I urgently needed an access to my funds but I totally forgot that I've changed passwords for online bankings I have.
I wondered why it was saying I put a wrong password in and I locked out of my account after third attempt.
I called TD call center to recover my password but they asked me when I opened the account, when I moved in my current address.
Are you nuts? How am I supposed to remember something happened long ago that anyone couldn't even remember?
Shouldn't they ask me 5 security questions instead that I made when I first logged in to my online banking?
I answered it wrong and the agent said call back when you have this answer.
After fourth calls, the agent said it's faster if I go to branch. WTF?
It make more sense if they asked me something I could remember such as when and where was the last time using my credit/debit card
or how much it was, how much money I have in my account, what kind of product I have, and such. I almost went crazy because of them.
I also had RBC so I managed to take care of it but still baffled.
Anyway, I went to TD branch first in the morning but even though I explained what happened,
these retards kept answering the same that they would reset the 5 security questions I made.
I told them 5 times that call center asked me security questions that I didn't make but really new and I don't even remember.
They finally answered that they are nothing related to the call center so they couldn't help more.
I freaking hate small town when something like this happens...
I'd understand if it's Walmart but don't they really have to hire someone educated despite labour shortage if it's a bank?
